Exception: AceMQ::AMQP::PublishingPausedError

Defined in:

Overview

A publish the library declined because the broker has blocked the connection. Nothing was written, so nothing can be half-published, and sending the same message again once the block clears is the right answer.

Its own class because the alternative is the one thing a caller cannot act on: a plain PublishError may be a message the broker has and never confirmed, and a load that counts the two together counts back pressure as loss. Go's isPaused, .NET's ConnectionBlockedException and Java's PublishingPausedException make the same split.

A subclass, so every rescue PublishError written before it existed still catches it. It is never unroutable: the message did not get far enough to be routed.
